The A12035SD Y-Axis Shift Pallet Changer is a robust automation solution designed by Midaco to significantly boost production output on large Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs). This system is characterized by its Y-Axis Shift capability, which allows the external shuttle to move in and out of the machine’s work envelope, offering superior integration and flexibility for VMCs with larger tables.

The system is delivered complete with two Series 52A Pneumatic Receivers that feature an integrated air blast to ensure contamination-free pallet seating, supporting a substantial total capacity of 8-000 lbs (3-632 kg) per pallet. The included pallets are 120 inches by 35 inches in size and constructed from durable Cast Aluminum. The Series 120 End Load Shuttle unit is equipped with an Automatic Door and indicator lamp, facilitating safe and efficient pallet exchanges. By allowing operators to set up the next job while the VMC is still cutting, the A12035SD effectively eliminates idle time, making it an essential upgrade for high-volume manufacturing operations handling long or heavy workpieces.
