The A14440SD Y-Axis Shift Pallet Changer with Aluminum Pallets is a high-performance automation solution from MIDACO- designed to virtually eliminate machine downtime caused by manual loading and unloading. The system includes two large 144 inch by 40 inch by 2-5 inch (3-658 mm x 1-016 mm x 63-5 mm) cast aluminum pallets. These pallets interface with two Series 52A pneumatic receivers, which feature an 8-000 lb (3-632 kg) total load capacity (weight evenly distributed) and an integrated air blast to ensure clean, precise pallet seating every time.

A key feature is the Series 140 End Load Shuttle unit with Y-axis shift capability. This design allows the entire pallet changer mechanism to shift in the Y-axis, creating the necessary clearance to load the extra-long pallets. The system is fully automatic and includes an Automatic Door and indicator lamp for seamless and safe integration with your Vertical Machining Center, allowing operators to set up the next job while the machine is running.
