The A4025SDR4CI Pallet Pool is a premier automation solution from Midaco designed to dramatically increase the productivity and efficiency of your Vertical Machining Center. This system allows for continuous, unattended operation by eliminating spindle-down time during part loading and unloading. While one pallet is being machined inside the VMC, up to three other pallets can be set up or unloaded outside the machine, ready for an automatic changeover.

The Pallet Pool system includes four robust 40-inch by 24-inch by 1.5-inch cast iron pallets to ensure stable workholding for large components. The core of the system is the Series 30A Pneumatic Receiver, which boasts a 1-000 lb (454 kg) capacity for evenly distributed weight, with a 2-000 lb capacity option available. Pallet transfer is handled by the Series 40R End Load Shuttle unit, which includes an Automatic Door and shuttle guarding via an integrated light emitter, mirrors, and sensors for operator safety. The entire unit is seamlessly controlled by the VMC using simple M-codes, ensuring easy integration and operation within your existing machining center workflow.
