The Robot-Cobot Ready Mount is a crucial automation-enabling accessory that provides the necessary custom modification to the control panel cabinet of a new or existing MIDACO A30SD Series Automatic Pallet Changer. This modification allows a separately purchased robot or cobot arm to be mounted directly to the shuttle, granting easy access to parts staged on a table or conveyor next to the machine. The primary benefit is automating repetitive part loading tasks, which ensures precision, reliability, and reduced operator strain. For DUAL Pallet Changer systems, two packages are required. To further enhance unattended machining, this mount can be combined with a Hydraulic Docking System for automated fixture and vise clamping, allowing the robot or cobot to load and unload parts with automated clamping between cycles. Note that this mount is not compatible with the standard Chip Shield for the Automatic Pallet Changer. MIDACO requires robot-cobot arm specifications before processing the customized pallet changer order.
