The Robot/Cobot Ready Mount is a crucial component for shops aiming to transition their MIDACO A40SD Series Pallet Changer into a fully automated machining cell. This product is specifically the customized modification of the control panel cabinet necessary to properly integrate and accommodate a robot or cobot arm that the customer purchases separately. By mounting the automation arm directly onto the pallet changer’s shuttle system, the robot gains easy access to parts staged on an adjacent table or conveyor, enabling high-precision, repetitive part handling.

Integrating this mount helps reduce operator strain and significantly enhances productivity by facilitating unattended machining for extended periods. For dual pallet changer systems, two packages are required. To maximize automation efficiency, this mount is often paired with a Hydraulic Docking System (sold separately), which allows for automated fixture and vise clamping without manual hose management. Please note, this mount is not compatible with the Chip Shield on the Automatic Pallet Changer, and MIDACO requires the robot or cobot arm specifications before customizing the Pallet Changer order.
