The Midaco Robot/Cobot Ready Mount (only) is the foundational element required to seamlessly integrate a robotic system with your new or existing AS50SD Series Automatic Pallet Changer. This product consists of a customized modification of the control panel cabinet and the structural mounting components, engineered to securely attach a robot or cobot arm onto the pallet changer’s shuttle. By situating the robotic arm on the shuttle, the system allows the robot to efficiently access parts staged on a table or conveyor alongside the pallet changer. This integration facilitates automated- repetitive part loading and unloading between cycles, resulting in significant reduction of operator strain and labor costs. The result is precision and reliability for continuous operation. For users operating a DUAL Pallet Changer system, two mount packages are necessary. This mount is designed to enhance automation and can be further combined with a Hydraulic Docking System for automated fixture and vise clamping, allowing for hours of unattended machining. Please note that the mount is not compatible with the Chip Shield option for the Automatic Pallet Changer, and the robot or cobot arm must be purchased separately from an authorized dealer.
