The CLAUSING KC18NC Automatic Horizontal Bandsaw is engineered to deliver high production output and reliable- heavy-duty performance through its advanced automated features. At the heart of the machine is the Smart NC-100 technology, which provides an intuitive 5-7 inch HMI touch screen and allows operators to program and easily recall up to 100 different cutting jobs. This functionality is complemented by the fully automatic NC Hinge operation and a precision hydraulic shuttle feed system that can index up to nine times for a maximum feed length of 252-6 inches. Power is delivered by a robust 7-5 Hp drive motor with inverter controlled infinitely variable blade speeds from 66 to 328 feet per minute. The saw handles large material sizes, cutting up to 18 inch round and 18 inch x 18 inch rectangular stock at 90 degrees with a guaranteed feed accuracy of +- 0-004 inch to 0-008 inch. Automation and longevity features include automatic hydraulic blade tensioning, hydraulic front and rear vises cast from iron, an automatic height setting feature, and detection for blade slippage or breakage. The KC18NC is built for demanding production environments and is equipped with an integral recirculating coolant system.
