The DC-460NC is a powerful entry in DoALL’s Continental Series of industrial horizontal band saws, designed for continuous, high-production metal cutting. This machine’s robust Dual-Column construction provides maximum rigidity, minimizing band vibration and deflection to produce straighter, more accurate cuts while maximizing blade life. The machine boasts a generous 20-inch by 18-inch rectangular capacity and an 18-inch round capacity. Operational efficiency is achieved through fully automatic operation managed by a sophisticated Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), which includes multi-lingual support, error message displays, and 20 job storage functions.

Material indexing is handled by a fully-hydraulic retractable shuttle vice on chrome rails, featuring variable index vice control, as well as rapid and creep speed indexing for precision. The cutting process is optimized with an inverter-controlled variable frequency drive that governs the 10 HP band motor, allowing for infinite band speed control (52-430 fpm). The inclusion of vertical hydraulic cylinders with hold-down fixtures and a split front vise makes the DC-460NC ideal for nesting capabilities (multiple-piece cutting) with less wasted material.
