The DoALL 4848-VPL Vertical Plate Saw is a heavy-duty specialty machine built for the challenging task of cutting large solid plates and blocks with precision and high efficiency. It boasts a substantial cutting capacity of 48 inches wide by 48 inches high (1200 mm x 1200 mm), making it suitable for major production environments handling very heavy material. The saw is powered by a robust 15 hp blade drive motor and offers variable blade speeds ranging from 40 to 279 fpm.

Operation is centralized via a PLC control system and an easy-to-use touch screen interface. To manage heavy workpieces, the 4848-VPL is equipped with a hydraulic lift roller table featuring a roller alignment system, which makes quick work of positioning and feeding material up to 118 inches (3000 mm) in length. Further enhancing its heavy-duty performance and minimizing maintenance are standard features such as a hydraulic blade deviation monitor, a heavy-duty automatic chip conveyor, and hydraulic blade guides. The machine is engineered to run with either a 2-inch or 2-5/8-inch wide blade, providing flexibility and excellent cut stability for demanding plate and block cutting applications.
