2012-VH Vertical Contour Band Saw

The DoALL 2012-VH Vertical Contour Band Saw is a flexible and highly dependable machine widely used in machine shops, maintenance departments, and schools for cutting a wide variety of materials. This upright saw features a Hydraulically Powered Work Table with 12 inches of travel and two T-slots for secure part fixturing, eliminating the possibility of movement during the cut. The cast steel table can also be tilted up to 45 degrees negative and 10 degrees positive, significantly increasing the machine’s versatility for angular cuts.

The saw uses a Variable Frequency Band Drive system, consisting of a 3 HP motor and a two-speed gear-driven transmission, which provides maximum torque and two broad speed ranges: a low range of 30-320 FPM and a high range of 550-5500 FPM. This variable speed control reduces the possibility of band stall and tooth strippage across different materials. Cutting stability is ensured by the use of DoALL’s patented chevron-type saw guide blocks and a carbide backup bearing on the flanged bandwheels, which minimize deflection and maximize band life. Safety features include band door interlocks and a unique transmission lockout system to prevent shifting while the band is running.
