RXP400DSC

The RXP400DSC is a technologically advanced entry into Röders’ range of High-Speed Vertical Machining Centers– specifically designed for high-accuracy, dynamic 5-axis work on smaller components. Its core strength lies in its ability to achieve highly precise micro-machining on intricate parts such as electrodes, small molds, and watch components. The machine offers a machining range of 310 mm x 294 mm x 210 mm and can handle a workpiece weight up to 15 kg.

The machine is very efficient due to its combination of high stiffness and an optimum layout of the mass inertia. Precision is ensured by high-resolution optical encoders in all axes and a specialized Röders 5-axis geometry compensation system, which maintains accuracy even during prolonged machining operations. Its kinematic features include a large swiveling range up to +135 degrees and an almost unlimited rotation range- supported by a two-sided support of the C-axis for enhanced stability. Drive technology includes powerful, wear-free direct drives in all axes and a rapid feed rate up to 42,000 mm/min. The standard spindle runs at 50,000 rpm (HSK E25) or 40,000 rpm (HSK E32)- and the tool changer comes standard with 16 linear places– with options for chain changers up to 70 or more places that can be loaded during machining.

Description

The RXP400DSC is a Röders High-Speed 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center engineered for highly precise micro-machining. Featuring a compact design, a generous swivel range of -30 to +135 degrees, and powerful wear-free direct drives in all axes, this machine is ideal for efficiently producing demanding small parts like electrodes, small molds, and components for watches. It ensures superior stiffness- optimum mass inertia- and continuous high precision through its 5-axis geometry compensation.
