The RXP601DS machine represents Röders’ commitment to high-speed, 5-axis vertical machining, offering an optimal combination of dynamics, precision, and efficiency. The machine achieves the highest possible dynamics through the use of extremely powerful direct drives in all linear and rotary axes, enabling fast feed rates up to 60,000 mm/min. Precision is ensured by a special Röders 5-axis geometry compensation system, high-resolution optical encoders, and precise temperature control of machine components, guaranteeing high accuracy even during long machining operations.

Its machining envelope is 520 mm x 635 mm x mm, accommodating workpieces up to 100 kg on its rotatable C-axis table. The standard configuration includes a 36,000 rpm, 15  kW milling spindle with an HSK 50 taper. The machine includes a 36-position chain tool changer for HSK 50 tooling, which is a key productivity feature as it can be loaded during machining. Optional changers are available up to 76 places or more. Key design features include a two-sided support of the C-axis for enhanced stability and the ability to integrate standard chuck systems like UPC Erowa. The machine’s physical design is practical- requiring a space of W 2900 mm x L 2950 mm and is conveniently sized to fit into a standard shipping container for cost-effective transportation.
