The Honor Twin Series VL-86 (VL-86AT/MT) models are large-capacity, dual-spindle vertical turning centers engineered for high-volume production and maximizing output within a reduced footprint.

These machines feature a unique, integrated structure that contains two independent spindles and two independent turrets. This “Twin” configuration delivers significant manufacturing flexibility, allowing operations to be optimized for either:

1. Parallel Operations: Machining two identical workpieces simultaneously, which effectively doubles the throughput and minimizes the cycle time per part.
2. Sequential Operations (OP-10/OP-20): Performing the first and second stages of a single component on the two separate spindles, thereby completing the finished part in one continuous cycle and reducing labor and handling.

The VL-86MT model further enhances capability by integrating live tooling, enabling complex milling, drilling, and tapping operations to be executed alongside the high-speed turning process.
