The FMB Turbo 3-26 Bar Feeder is a robust automation solution available in 6 foot or 12 foot configurations, compatible with all types of sliding or fixed, CNC, or cam operated lathes with spindle bores up to 38 mm. It is engineered for dependable and quiet high-speed operation when feeding round, square, or hexagonal bar stock ranging from 3 mm to 26 mm in diameter. The core of its performance is the hydrodynamic support system, which uses high-volume oil flow in the guide channel to keep the bar centered, dampening noise and vibration while enabling the lathe to achieve optimum cutting conditions.

Efficiency is maximized through its ultra quick change system, allowing a full guide channel changeover in about ten minutes, and bar stock collet changes in under two minutes with the “Pin-on” collet feature. Control is managed by a Bosch motion control system displayed on an intuitive 8-4 inch touch control panel featuring an ERGOlogic user interface and storage for 48 part programs. Additional key features include an outboard roller steady rest for maximum bar stock support, automatic remnant retraction, a self-centering gripper, and a Swiss headstock synchronization device for compatibility with fast-moving sliding headstock lathes.
