The FMB Turbo RS 3-38 Bar Feeder is a high-performance machine designed for feeding round, square, and hexagonal bar material into virtually all types of lathes- including sliding, fixed, CNC, and cam-operated machines. The heart of its design is the patented RS sliding guide module, which fully integrates the guide channel and a movable anti-vibration steady rest with the lathe spindle. This technology provides hydrodynamic support by flooding the system with high-volume oil flow, resulting in superior bar stability and heat dissipation for optimum cutting conditions and maximum RPM.

The bar feeder boasts an impressive bar diameter capacity of 3 mm to 38 mm (0.118 inch to 1.500 inch) and can accommodate bars up to 3800 mm (12 feet 5 inches) in length. Operation is simplified by ultra-quick change guide channels that use polyurethane for noise and vibration dampening and allow for a full changeover in about 10 minutes. Control is managed via a portable 8.4-inch Touch control panel featuring the intuitive ERGOlogic user interface, Bosch motion control, and a Guided Set-up function for inexperienced users. Additional features include a double pusher design for space saving, automatic remnant retraction, a self-centering gripper, and storage for 300 part programs.
