The LNS QUICK LOAD SERVO 65 (QLS 65) is a dependable, entry-level automatic bar feeder engineered to streamline short-barstock feeding for CNC lathes. Its fully electric drive and servo positioning system deliver fast and precise bar feeding — ideal for standard production parts and repeated runs.

With a capacity for bars from 6 to 65 mm in diameter and bar lengths from 150 mm up to 1300 mm (short version) or up to 1600 mm (standard version), the QLS 65 covers a wide range of turning needs. The side-loading magazine rack features a 620 mm loading capacity and can store multiple bars — for example, up to nine bars at 65 mm diameter or dozens at smaller diameters — enabling long, unattended production cycles.

Changeover is simple and efficient. Because of its fully electric design, changing the bar diameter requires only about 15 seconds to reconfigure settings such as loading height, finger selection, torque and feed-rate adjustments — all by entering the new diameter in the control interface. A full changeover, including pusher change, completes in roughly 2 minutes.

The servo-driven pusher ensures the bar remains in contact during feeding, allowing smooth, accurate positioning — whether pushing against a turret stop or feeding to a precise length. The QLS 65 also includes a user-friendly touch-screen control panel (TFT display) that simplifies setup and operation.

The feeder’s retraction system can move in either X or Z direction, allowing easy access to the lathe’s spindle when needed, without compromising alignment or precision.
