The Kingston HP and HPX series are pinnacle heavy-duty oil country and hollow spindle lathes delivering unmatched power and precision for working with large and long materials. These robust lathes are available with a 40-inch swing over the bed and center-to-center distances from 80 to 280 inches. The core difference is the bore size.

The HP model boasts a 709-inch bore, while the HPX offers an even larger 925-inch or optional 101-inch bore to accommodate the biggest workpieces. Both models are powered by a robust 30 HP main drive motor and utilize a 16-speed gearbox providing optimal machining performance.

HP models run from 8 to 700 RPM, and HPX models from 9 to 600 RPM. The rigid construction includes a strong headstock and a 22-inch wide bedway made with high-quality casting and hardened and ground ways, ensuring exceptional stability and accuracy.

Standard features include a hydraulic brake system, 4-way rapid traverse, a rear chuck adapter installed, and comprehensive inch metric module and diametrical pitch threading capabilities, making them essential for demanding industrial environments, particularly the oil and gas industry.
