The Kingston HR-30 Precision Lathe is a heavy-duty manual engine lathe designed for maximum stability, accuracy, and high torque cutting. The massive and heavily ribbed 22-inch wide bed casting ensures exceptional rigidity and accuracy even during the most demanding heavy-duty applications. At its core is a robust headstock with a hardened and ground main spindle featuring a large 4.09-inch bore and D1-11 Camlock nose supported by a three-point bearing system for superior strength. Operators benefit from the increased control provided by 16 spindle speeds ranging from 8 to 800 revolutions per minute as standard. The totally enclosed gearbox features hardened and ground gears and shafts, providing a wide range of threading capabilities, including inch and metric module and diametral pitch, by simply changing levers.
