The VH-25-DVS is a super versatile knee mill designed for superior performance in both vertical and horizontal milling operations. It is equipped with two powerful 5 HP NST number 40 taper spindles. The vertical spindle features a Digital Variable Speed drive with a range of 60 to 4500 RPM, while the horizontal spindle offers a speed range of 60 to 1400 RPM. This dual spindle capability allows the operator to easily switch between operations by swiveling the overarm without having to move the workpiece, which preserves accuracy and saves significant time. The machine is built on a heavy-duty foundation featuring hardened and ground box ways on the column and knee for exceptional rigidity under heavy cutting loads. It includes a built-in geared power table with 12 speeds for the longitudinal feed and features rapid traverse on the knee for fast positioning. The large work surface is 1181 inches by 5393 inches, providing ample space for large or multiple components.
