The GSA-3032 model is a high-performance solution in the GSA Series of Angular head Gantry Type Machining Centers, specifically designed for complex composite angle machining and multi-face work. As a 3-plus-2 axis machine, it provides high accuracy in demanding applications like mold cutting, highly precise contour finishing, milling, drilling, and tapping. The machine’s operational efficiency is maximized by the IAC-Indexing Attached head, a highly accurate 2-axis head that enables the machine to achieve 5-axis accuracy performance. This head features auto-indexing with precise 1-degree resolution on both the B and C axes, effectively reducing tool displacement and extending tool life.

Structurally, the GSA-3032 features excellent dynamic performance thanks to its one-piece gantry design. Its work zone is substantial, with an X-axis travel of 3-000 mm and a Y-axis travel of 3-200 mm, resting on a table capable of supporting up to 3-000 kg per square meter. The machine is fitted with a powerful 15-000 RPM HSK-A100 spindle with a continuous power rating of 50 kW and a 30-minute rating of 65 kW. Motion dynamics are fast and precise, with a cutting feed rate of up to 20,000 mm/min and a rapid traverse of 32 m/min on the X and Y axes. Standard control is handled by the sophisticated HEIDENHAIN TNC640 controller, and key technologies like the spindle and structure temperature thermal compensation system are included to ensure sustained precision throughout long machining cycles.
