GSA-4027

The GSA-4027 is a specialized Gantry Type Machining Center from the GSA Series, designed for complex and large workpieces requiring 3 plus 2 axis capabilities. This model provides high accuracy performance for demanding applications such as mold cutting, highly precise contour finishing, milling, drilling, and tapping. Its structural integrity is built on a foundation of excellent dynamic performance owing to its one-piece structural design. The core of its angular capability is the IAC- Indexing Attached head, a 2-axis component with 1 degree auto indexing on both the B and C axes, allowing for efficient composite angle machining and shorter tool travel.

The machine offers an expansive work envelope with 4-000 mm of X-axis travel and 2-700 mm of Y-axis travel. The main spindle delivers powerful performance with 50 kW – 65 kW of power and a top speed of 15-000 RPM. High-speed movement is standard, with rapid traverse rates of 32 m-min on the X and Y axes and 20 m-min on the Z-axis. To ensure sustained precision, the GSA-4027 is equipped with a spindle and structure temperature thermal compensation system and uses the advanced HEIDENHAIN TNC640 controller as standard. This combination of rigidity, speed, and angular flexibility makes it an ideal machine for the most challenging precision jobs.
