GSA-6027

The GSA-6027 belongs to the GSA Series, a line of Gantry Type Machining Centers specializing in high-accuracy 3 plus 2 axis performance. This machine is designed to excel in challenging applications like mold cutting, highly precise contour finishing, milling, drilling, and tapping of large workpieces. Its structural stability is guaranteed by a one-piece structural design, which ensures excellent dynamic performance during high-speed operations. The core of its multi-angle capability is the IAC-indexing attached head, a 2-axis head with auto indexing of B-axis 1 degree and C-axis 1 degree. This head is driven by a powerful 15-000 RPM spindle with an impressive continuous power of 50 kW and peak power of 65 kW, delivering above 40 kW spindle driving capacity with a high clamping force of 20 kN. With its large working envelope of 6-000 mm X-axis travel and 2-700 mm Y-axis travel, and rapid traverse rates reaching 32 m-min on the XY axes, the GSA-6027 effectively shortens tool displacement travel and extends tool life. It is the best choice for intricate composite angle machining and multi-face machining tasks. The machine comes standard with a HEIDENHAIN TNC640 controller and thermal compensation.
