The GSF-3027 model is a high-precision, high-dynamic machine in the GSF Series, Vision Wide’s line of 5-axis gantry-type machining centers. It is specifically designed for complex, demanding applications such as mold cutting, highly precise contour finishing, and composite angle machining in industries like aerospace and automotive. Its superior structural rigidity is based on a robust one-piece design for stability, allowing it to achieve exceptional dynamic performance. The core of its accuracy is the continuous 2-axis head, which achieves a 5-axis dynamic rotation synchronization accuracy – TCPM – of just 0-04 mm, with backlashless driving and a rotation positioning accuracy of plus-minus 5 inches on the B and C axes. Power is provided by a strong, built-in 15-000 RPM spindle with a peak output of 65 kW. The machine offers a large working area with 3-000 mm of X-axis travel and 2-700 mm of Y-axis travel. High efficiency is delivered through rapid traverse rates of 32 m-min in X and Y, and a cutting feed rate up to 20-000 mm-min. The GSF-3027 is equipped with a standard HEIDENHAIN TNC640 controller and linear scales on all axes, ensuring that it shortens tool displacement travel and extends tool life effectively for composite angle machining.
