The GSF-4027 model is a premier machine in the GSF Series, Vision Wide’s 5-axis Gantry Type Machining Center line, engineered for high-speed and high-precision simultaneous machining on large workpieces. The machine is built on a robust, one-piece structural design, ensuring exceptional dynamic performance and maximum rigidity throughout its operations. It is specifically designed to perform complex tasks such as mold cutting, highly precise contour finishing, milling, drilling, and tapping, effectively shortening tool displacement travel and extending tool life for composite angle machining.

The core of its capability is the high-accuracy 2-axis head with backlashless driving on the B and C rotational axes, providing a dynamic rotation synchronization accuracy – TCPM – of just 0-04 mm. The rotary positioning accuracy is maintained at plus-minus 5 inches. The spindle is a powerful, built-in, direct-driven 15-000 RPM unit with a peak output of 65 kW. The working envelope is substantial, featuring travels of 4-000 mm in X and 2-700 mm in Y, and utilizing rapid traverse rates of 32 m/min in X and Y for high-efficiency productivity. Precision feedback is ensured by X-axis dual linear scales and an integrated thermal compensation system. Control is handled by the standard HEIDENHAIN TNC640 controller, making the GSF-4027 a versatile and reliable tool for manufacturing components in the Aerospace and Automotive industries.
