The machine’s heavy-duty capacity is supported by a reinforced column constructed with Meehanite cast iron. For superior precision and wear resistance, the machine features high-quality slideways: the table utilizes one V and one flat slideway coated with Turcite-B, and the crossfeed uses Double-V ways also laminated with Turcite-B. A recirculating automatic lubrication system ensures all moving parts are properly lubricated.

The grinding performance is driven by a V3 graded 10 HP spindle motor. The spindle is equipped with four Class 7 high-precision angular contact ball bearings that are sealed and greased for life. To maintain thermal stability and grinding accuracy, the machine includes an enlarged hydraulic tank with a dual pump design for accurate downfeed and smooth table movement. A separated cooling system keeps the hydraulic oil temperature stable, ensuring it does not rise more than 20 degrees over room temperature. The design also features a mechanical downfeed for easy maintenance and front-setting crossfeed dials, which allow the operator to set the workpiece distance without needing to move away from the main control panel.
