This series is built around a robust double-column design and is controlled by the SMART iControl system. It features exceptional structural rigidity for long-term accuracy, even when handling maximum table loads of up to 19,800 pounds (9,000 kg), as seen on the FSG-60160DC model.

• Precision Spindle: A high-precision cartridge-type spindle equipped with four Class 7 (P4) angular contact ball bearings, ensuring minimal runout and maximum grinding accuracy. It is typically powered by a 25 HP horizontal spindle motor.
• Accurate Movement: The cross-feed and down-feed axes utilize C3 grade precision ball screws directly coupled to Delta AC servo motors for precise movement.
• Longevity and Stability: The longitudinal movement of the spindle head employs a roller-type linear guideway design. An automatic cycle, continuous-flow lubrication system is used for the guideways, ball screw, and table, maintaining smooth movement and extended machine life.
