e-Lathe 1440V
The Acer e-Lathe 1440V is a high-precision engine lathe designed for superior performance and flexibility in the modern toolroom. Its most notable feature is the Inverter Drive system, which provides infinite variable spindle speeds across its entire range, from a low of 36 RPM up to 2,200 RPM, allowing the operator precise control over cutting speed for optimal surface finish and tool life.
The machine is constructed on a heavy 9-inch wide bedway made of FC-30 casting iron, featuring a hexagonal web design for enhanced rigidity. The bedways are induction hardened and ground to ensure long-term accuracy and durability. The spindle— with a 1-1/2 inch bore and D1-4 nose— is made from medium carbon steel, induction hardened and ground, and supported by a two-point precision taper roller bearing system. The headstock features a forced lubrication system to ensure all chromium molybdenum steel gears are well protected. The quick-change universal gearbox is uniquely designed with two levers and two dials for easy selection of a wide range of threads, including Inch threads from 4-56 TPI and Metric pitches.
Safety features include a 24-volt safety control circuit, standard foot brake, and an interlocked apron to prevent simultaneous feed and threading engagement.
