The Dynamic-1440E High Speed Precision Engine Lathe is engineered to deliver exceptional accuracy and reliable performance for production and toolroom work. It is built on a sturdy 7-1/2 inch wide bed way constructed from FC-30 casting iron with a hexagonal bed web design for enhanced stability. The headstock contains all gears made from chromium molybdenum steel, which are then hardened and ground to ensure accuracy and maximum lifespan, aided by a forced lubrication system that lubricates all running components. The spindle is precision bored to 1-1/2 inches, crafted from induction hardened and ground medium carbon steel, and supported by two-point taper roller bearings for high-precision operations. The unique two-lever universal gearbox provides a wide and easy-to-change range of threading capabilities across nine spindle speeds. Safety is prioritized with a 24-volt safety control circuit, a standard foot brake, and an apron mechanism that is fully interlocked to prevent the simultaneous engagement of feeding and threading functions.
