The machine is founded upon a massive FC-30 cast iron bed weighing 9,570 lbs, which features hardened and ground bedways rated at Rockwell C 55 degrees, guaranteeing superior rigidity and enduring accuracy. The powerful 15 HP spindle motor drives the headstock, which utilizes magnetic multiple-disc clutches for smooth and efficient spindle starting and reversing, providing 12 speeds in a wide range from 25 to 1,200 RPM.
