The Dynamic-29160G High Speed Precision Engine Lathe is an incredibly robust and accurate machine engineered for the turning of large components.

Weighing 10,070 lbs, its foundation is a massive FC-30 casting iron bed with oversized, widely spaced ways. The bedways are induction hardened and precision ground to a hardness of Rockwell C 55 degrees, guaranteeing superior stability, long-term accuracy, and maximum resistance to wear.

The machine is driven by a powerful, Drip-proof 15 HP spindle motor, with power transferred through magnetic multiple-disc clutches for smooth and efficient spindle starting and reversing. The headstock offers 12 spindle speed steps ranging from a low of 25 RPM up to 1,200 RPM to handle various materials and cutting needs.

For enhanced control and safety, a magnetic disc brake with a foot pedal allows for rapid stopping of the spindle. The carriage features a saddle-lock device for secure positioning during heavy cutting, precision-ground cross-slideways, and rapid four-directional travel for quick setup. An Electro-trochoid pump is used to force lubrication oil to all running parts outside of the headstock, ensuring reliability.
