Powering the machine is a 15 HP spindle motor that drives a 12-speed geared head with a range of 15 to 1200 RPM. The spindle features a generous 4 1/8 inch bore with a D1-11 Camlock nose and can support up to 3300 pounds with a steady rest and tailstock. Key construction features include a hardened and ground bed and cross slide ways coated with Turcite for smooth, durable movement. The lathe provides extensive threading capabilities, including 60-inch pitches from 2 to 112 TPI and 60 metric pitches from 02 to 14 mm.
