The GMV-2F Precision Milling Machine is a robust and highly accurate toolroom mill designed for a wide range of vertical milling tasks. It is equipped with a large 9-inch by 50-inch table that can handle workpieces up to 900 pounds and provides extensive travel with 38 inches in the X-axis and 12 inches in the Y-axis. Precision is paramount with the spindle featuring Class-7 super precision matched set bearings and a maximum runout of only 00008 inches. The 3 HP variable speed head allows for spindle speeds from 60 to 4500 RPM to accommodate various materials and cutting tools. Durability is enhanced by hard chrome-plated and mirror-ground quill and hard chrome-plated X and Y axis ways, which are hardened and ground dovetails for extended service life. The head offers extreme versatility with 90-degree left-to-right tilt and a +45 to -38-degree front-to-back tilt, along with a 360-degree swivel on the turret.
