The GMV-3F is a heavy-duty toolroom milling machine built for precise and versatile machining operations. It features a spacious 10-inch by 54-inch table capable of holding up to 950 pounds of evenly distributed weight. For maximum rigidity and accuracy, the machine incorporates square box slideways on the Y and Z axes, while the X axis uses hardened and ground dovetail ways. The spindle is powered by a 3 HP variable speed motor and utilizes Class-7 precision bearings to ensure maximum runout is kept below 0002 inches. The dual range variable speed drive allows for spindle speeds from 60 to 4500 RPM, providing flexibility for various materials and tooling. The head is a twin swivel design offering 90 degrees of tilt left-to-right and 360 degrees of swivel on the turret for complex angle machining. With generous travel of 35 inches in the X axis, 175 inches in the Y axis, and 1505 inches in the Z axis, the GMV-3F is ideal for handling large and demanding milling work.
