The A4025SDCI Dual Pallet Changer with Cast Iron Pallets is MIDACO’s solution for boosting productivity and achieving maximum spindle uptime on your Vertical Machining Center. This system is designed for high stability and demanding workholding applications, incorporating two 40 inch by 24 inch (1-016 mm by 609-6 mm) end-load pallets constructed from robust cast iron. Cast iron construction provides superior vibration dampening and thermal stability compared to aluminum, which is critical for maintaining precision during heavy machining.

The system includes a Series 40 End Load Shuttle unit equipped with an Automatic Door and indicator lamp for seamless and safe pallet exchange. Pallet locating is achieved via a Series 30A pneumatic receiver that features an integrated air blast system to ensure debris-free pallet docking and repeatable accuracy. With a standard capacity of 1-000 lbs (454 kgs)—evenly distributed—per pallet, this changer significantly improves efficiency by enabling operators to set up the next job while the machine is cutting the current one. An optional 2-000 lb (908 kgs) capacity Receiver Upgrade is also available for heavier workpieces.
