The CLAUSING KALAMAZOO H1315NC is a robust and highly automated bandsaw built for continuous, high-volume production cutting. Its defining feature is the twin column design, which provides rigid support for the saw head during the entire cutting cycle, resulting in exceptional precision and longer blade life. The machine boasts an automatic, three-phase 5 HP drive motor paired with an inverter-controlled variable speed system, allowing the operator to fine-tune the blade speed from 49 to 262 feet per minute (FPM) to perfectly match the material being cut.

The saw’s intelligence is centered on its Smart NC-100 technology, which uses a 5/7-inch HMI touch screen for programming and storing up to 100 different jobs, enabling easy recall and execution of stored part programs. The H1315NC offers fully automatic operation, including a hydraulic shuttle vice assembly with a maximum single feed length of 15\ 86 inches, hydraulic front and rear vises with hardened wear plates, and a maximum multi-index feed of 255\ 9 inches. Precision features include automatic kerf loss compensation, precision feed pressure and feed rate control, automatic hydraulic blade tensioning, and automatic height setting. For safety and maintenance, it includes an integral recirculating coolant system, power-driven blade brushes, and blade slippage or breakage detection, ensuring automatic shutoff after a preset number of cuts or when out of stock.
