The COSEN C-Tech C11 is a sophisticated horizontal column band saw engineered to excel in mass production environments, defined by its rugged and dependable enclosed frame design that ensures operator safety and machine stability. Its high-precision performance stems from a core structure where the saw frame rides on linear guide ways (rails), utilizing a hydraulic system with a precision feed pressure and feed rate valve system to achieve the smoothest feeding, highest precision, and lowest friction guide system available today.

The machine’s advanced functionality is managed through an NC control system featuring a 5.7 inch HMI touchscreen interface. This system allows operators to program and store up to 100 jobs, execute an automatic first (square) cut, and manage controlled multiple indexing of material up to 999 inches in length. Mechanically, the C11 is built for demanding work, utilizing a gearbox designed to accept high lateral pressure without thermal distortion and a dedicated vibration damper. Blade performance is optimized via an infinitely variable blade speed system, a hydraulic blade tensioning system, and high-durability carbide blade guides and bearings, all protected by COSEN’s proprietary Save-A-Blade feature. The cutting operation is supported by a robust cast iron hydraulic vise with a split jaw to help reduce burr and an adjustable flood coolant system for cleanup.
