The NV-1280 is a key model in the CAMPRO NV Series of high-performance vertical machining centers, offering exceptional travel capacities of X: 1280 mm Y: 650mm and Z: 630mm. Its design is focused on combining heavy cutting ability with fast movement by utilizing heavy-duty roller-type linear guideways on all three axes. To ensure superior and sustained precision, the machine features a unique thermal symmetry structure on the spindle and loops, which significantly decreases thermal deformation and enhances stability.

The machine’s structural integrity is reinforced by a one-piece column that includes a shoulder to support the tool magazine- minimizing vibration and maximizing stability during tool changes. All three axes feature pretensioned class C3 precision ballscrews to eliminate backlash. The spindle is powered by an 11 bk/15 kW (20 HP) motor, with speeds up to 10,000 rpm standard, and optional speeds up to 15,000 rpm.
